Whats it like for a young woman with a teft or esl certificate going to another country alone?

Hi. I am 22 and thinking about getting my tefl/esl certification and going to teach in another country alone. The places that interest me the most are China, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea. Is there any young women who went alone ( or women you may know)? and what was your experience? Advice?
