What is the fastest way to get TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or some other comparable certification to teach abroad?
Kieron J asked:
I am looking for a really quick way to earn certification to teach English abroad. Anyone have any suggestions? The faster the better.
I have seen one online for one month. I am looking for something far quicker.

I would immediately contact you local U.S. State representative since they would be in a position to give you guidance on this very topic; I’m sure it also makes a difference as to where you want to teach abroad, and they can actually assist you in this endeavor. It can be political going overseas to teach, so it makes sense to have a politician as an ally.

you won’t find anything quicker than 1 month. at all. there are no certified programs that can ‘inject’ you with training in a week- though it seems you probably aren’t interested in teaching but in travel-?
you might also want to keep in mind to research whichever country you plan on ‘teaching’ in- most countries require you to have a job lined up BEFORE you enter, and most jobs require the minimum of a certified certificate, etc.
good luck

Go online. You can do it at your own pace which means if you’re dedicated you can get through a course in two or maybe three weeks.
Only thing is, make sure to go with a reputable online organisation and not some fly-by-night.
