What doors does having an MA in ESL open?

i have a few years teaching experience in south korea.
Im considering doing an MA in TESOL and applied linguistics.
What kinds of jobs would that land me around the world? University jobs?

    No matter what teaching level you decide on, you will have to pass a teaching exam. With your eperience you could become a professor. There are so many countless numbers of language schools world wide so it really depends on where you want to go.

    I think you are asking the wrong question. It should be, how much more I could expect to make, sorry to say not much. However, you will have a better shot at places you are interested in, but the pay will still be lousy.
