How does an American get a good job in Japan; not teaching English?

Are there agencies or head hunters that can help? I’ve been looking for four years and have only found jobs teaching English. Are there jobs out there that someone can land with an Economics degree and experience in business/management from a top company?

Where can I find internships or volunteer work for ESL teaching?

I’m currently in college right now and I’ve decided that I want to become an ESL teacher with a major in Linguistics. I’m interested in finding an internship or volunteer work so I can gain some experience teaching ESL before I get my degree (which will be a while since I have a long way to go). What do I need to do to find something like that? Would asking a counselor at my school be of any use?
