LookingForIdeas asked: This program at UC Irvine seems expensive at $5,000.
Is it worth it?
Did you have a good experience? Did you feel prepared after you completed the program?
What was the best part and the worst part of the program?
Does the department really have good connections for possible jobs?
Thanks for your help.

Celia asked: What difference does having a TESOL or a degree in English make? If I’m interested in advancing my career in teaching English to all levels (I’m a preschool teacher currently), which way should I head?

I want to get my TESOL and I’d really prefer to do it online due to the fact that I need these summer classes to get my diploma. Is the ONLINE certification for TESOL looked down upon?

kowalchuk asked:
For TEFL and TESL I’ve found plenty of programs that require having university degrees beforehand, but for TESOL it seems like less prior education is required.

neat09 asked:
I know there are lots on the internet and I have looked at them all a great deal, but I can’t help wondering which sites are telling me the truth or lying about how great they are, their international recognition, or their ability to find me work overseas. Anyone been there done that, that can describe their experience and recommended an institute?
