I want to make teaching English as a Foreign/Second Language (ESL/EFL) a career so that I can teach overseas (Asia) and make decent money. Which is a better qualification to earn high paying jobs: a Masters in TESOL or becoming a certified teacher in the U.S.? I have a B.A. in Psychology and TESOL certification already.

What I really want to know is what kind of exercises or texts I can use in order to improve speaking skills in ordinary situations.Of course grammar is also important, but the fact is that the textbook she works on is not helping.I need specific examples because I don’t have materials for this level.I should also say that I’m Romanian and I’ve been teaching English for almost two years but only in highschool, so I don’t have experience when it comes to lower levels. Thanks a lot.

I have been teaching English at a cram school in Asia for a year and am now going to Latin America to work in a poor village. The materials I now use are good but copyrighted by the school, so I can’t take them. I am also used to having a library of resources. Now, I won’t have a photocopier and probably won’t be able to bring in a lot of resources, (definitely not one per student) so I am looking for good books and materials out of which I can get plenty of mileage.
