douglas j asked:
I have been teaching for five years in South Korea. I thought it would be easier to get a job in Japan based on my experience. So why is it so hard to get a position? Since it will be my first year in Japan I am not too concerned about where or what kind of school it is.

Gonzo asked: If I am moving to a country is there a book that shows the country’s laws, taxes, customs and ideologies?
I am deciding between Spain and South Korea but I am not sure about Spain since they dislike North Americans so much (as least when I went). Do the people of South Korea like North Americans? Is there a book or accurate travel book that could give me a feel for a country before I go? What country in Europe or Asia welcomes Americans the most? I am planning to work with ESL so if anyone has worked in this field any help would be great or any advice would be appreciated.

Gonzo asked:
Do I go to a courthouse or police station? Anyone know where exactly where you pick one up?
The job is located in Seoul, South Korea. I think they want me to send them a copy in print or in a file through email.

Gonzo asked:
Outside the classroom if I am approached by a parent should I charge 20,000 won an hour for private lessons. If you are an ESL teacher was is a good price range to charge? I plan on making some money there so any suggestions would be great.
