Vivienne asked: Hi~ i posted a similar question before.
I am a high school student who speaks Chinese.
I was asked to tutor 3 high school ESL students of my age, they are Chinese who does not speak English at all.
They want me to come every weekend for 3 or 4 hours…
I really want to know how much I should charge them per hour. Is $15 sounds OK? I have no experience and have no confidence in myself at all!
Please help me!

I really want to travel and see some of the world while I’m still young, and Teaching ESL abroad sounds like the right fit for me. However, I cannot get a definitive, step-by-step answer of how to actually put this ambition into motion. Can anyone help?

average joe asked: I would like to teach in Korea. It sounds like an interesting experience. However, I have heard some good things about it and some bad things. I’m Southeast Asian so I’m wondering how do they feel about people like me? I’ve heard that its a lot of fun to experience Korea but there must be some negative things that go along with it.
What are some of the good and bad things about teaching ESL and living in Korea? And what are some of the bad things?
