Also, if I do get my CELTA cert, will I also need a Bachelor’s degree in order to find a teaching position? Speaking of teaching, which European country which you suggest I look in? (My Irish citizenship application is being processed as we speak, so relocating to Europe won’t be a problem.) Lastly, what type of salary can I expect with this type of a job? (I don’t need a lot of money, I just want to be able to live comfortably enough.)

I want to teach English in Shanghai so badly but I don’t know whether me and my wife should just go to shanghai on a tourist visa and cahnge visa status once I get there and find a job or just apply for a job online and start getting a work visa and start as soon as I get there. I want to go this summer, what times do they hire for summer? How much can I earn in Shanghai teaching English? I want alteast a salary of 8,000 RMB a month plus a furnished apartment. Is there any places like that hiring? Can you give me some hints on where to look. I go to eslcafe.com, eslplaza.com, and craigslist.com all the time but is there any other websites out there. What can one do to start teaching in Shanghai, what is your best advice?
