Baluda asked: I was just wondering if there’s anyone out there who has delt with unprofessional esl recruiting agencies-whether it be a representative who has simply ignored your email/application, or someone who has just generally given you rotten service. I would like to know which agencies I should avoid. I’ve had a few bad experiences already and don’t want to waste my time dealing with idiots.

Ouch My Knee asked: I am graduating from college with a Major in German language studies and a minor in ESL (English as a Second Language). Next year I will be teaching English in Germany. I need to decide what I want to go to Grad school for before next fall. I want to get my doc. so that I can teach at the college level. I can’ decide which I want to do. Anyone have any pros/cons for either? Or have experiences involving anything related to this.

average joe asked: I would like to teach in Korea. It sounds like an interesting experience. However, I have heard some good things about it and some bad things. I’m Southeast Asian so I’m wondering how do they feel about people like me? I’ve heard that its a lot of fun to experience Korea but there must be some negative things that go along with it.
What are some of the good and bad things about teaching ESL and living in Korea? And what are some of the bad things?
