Jun Young asked: I am wondering about whether the verb ‘cancel’ has to or -ing after cancel.
Let us have two following sentences as an example.
I canceled to play basketball.
I canceled playing basketball.
Which one is correct?
What I want to say is that I kept myself from playing basketball.
I am asking about grammatical question.
I know it is stupid of me to ask question like this.
Thank you in advance.

I have a website that does online teaching now. I just want to add ESL to what we offer. I need to know where the demand for it is and how to reach it.

InternationalTodd asked: I only know one technique, to write on the board some information on the board, and ask “what question is for that information?”
This works, but has limits!
The students understand basic English, but need to practice their usage and pronunciation. With out the classroom participation, they do not have the practice!
I had great success teaching immigrants in the states, but that was one on one, or two or three at a time, 10-30 is different!

Baluda asked: I was just wondering if there’s anyone out there who has delt with unprofessional esl recruiting agencies-whether it be a representative who has simply ignored your email/application, or someone who has just generally given you rotten service. I would like to know which agencies I should avoid. I’ve had a few bad experiences already and don’t want to waste my time dealing with idiots.

Tony asked: For personal and academic reasons I’d like to spend a period in Mongolia. Is it plausible to find a basic job teaching english if I have a Bachelor’s degree but no TESOL or any other kind of ESL training? If so, what kind of pay should I expect? And what sort of schools would be willing to hire someone like me?
