I know that without a college degree, you will most likely teach children. And you should at least have some experience teaching children and a TEFL certificate. I just want to know if you can also receive the round-trip airfare paid for you and the free housing—just like in the other Chinese ESL jobs that require a college degree.

I heard that a list exists which allows recruiters and schools to black list problem ESL teachers. Does anyone know if this actually exists? Just curious.

I have an Arts degree, and I’d really like to continue teaching, but not as a primary/secondary school teacher. Any suggestions?

I really want to teach in public schools during the school year but want to travel as a TESOL teacher during the summer, but I’m a parent and would love my child to gain that experience instead of boring camp! Help please! Thanks!

I am curious in learning more about this field. I am earning my certification in Secondary Social Studies, but I have been told that it is difficult to get a job in this field. ESL is in much more demand, is it not?
What do these teachers do all day? How does their work differ from a normal classroom teacher?
