groisamomma asked:
I am in my Master’s Program for Education-Middle School Math. I need to get in touch with an ESL teacher in New Jersey, or a regular teacher that has one or more ESL students in his/her room, so that I can interview him/her about the ESL programs in the school. Do you know of a teacher that can help me? How can I contact him/her?

bex asked: I want to be an ESL teacher in Illinois, but all the teacher accredited colleges/universities that i want to attend do not offer the program for an undergraduate degree.
if i double major in secondary ed and biology for undergrad and go to Wheaton Collge for a TESOL certificate, will that enable me to teach ESL? on the website, it says that the TESOL certificate is teacher accredited……
or is it better to go to a collge/university that i’m not really interested in that offers ESL programs for undergrad so that i can do what i wnat to do faster? help?
i’m not in a hurry to get a job, i can take my time. actually, im applying to the Golden Apple Scholars Program which requires me to teach for five years and a needy schools within eight years of graducating. I guess that does give me time to get the certificate b/c it only takes a year…..
is there even such a thing as ESL biology? what should i do?

Harry Merkin asked:
ESL = English as a Second Language
My friends kids must wait an additional 15 minutes so the morning annoucements are comleted in Spanish. The Mexican students generally drop out and bog the whole system down. Nothing against Non English Speaking Mexicans but there has to be another way.
If my child was going to school in Italy, would the school system make everyone slow down so my child could learn Italian to catch up? No. It does dumb down the english speaking students.
