Janine D asked: I am currently teaching in Korea within the public school system. Although I enjoy it, I’m looking for a change and to try teaching in another area outside of Asia. I have heard wonderful things about the teaching opportunities in South America and now am interested in exploring the options of going there. Any help is appreciated!

YES, I’d like to earn a decent income while teaching English abroad. I’m interested in TEFL teaching opportunities in Asia, but also in Mexico and Kenya. I am familiar with the organizations: TEFL International and Global Crossroad. However, I’d like helpful info from people who have successfully done any TEFL/TESOL program already.

Charles G asked:
I have been teaching English at a cram school in Asia for a year and am now going to Latin America to work in a poor village. The materials I now use are good but copyrighted by the school, so I can’t take them. I am also used to having a library of resources. Now, I won’t have a photocopier and probably won’t be able to bring in a lot of resources, (definitely not one per student) so I am looking for good books and materials out of which I can get plenty of mileage.

Asia: Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, China
Or is it a European country that pays the most money?
