I’m also semi fluent in spanish and would get much better after living there for a short time.
Also, are there any other jobs possibilities in mexico for young gringos such as myself?
I’m not looking to live extravagantly, Just survive comfortably.

sure… there is a good job I know // it’s call TELEPERFORMANCE…
and to work there you have to speak both language .. and they pay really good.. here is the we-page if u need to know more LraJ

Look in Korea, they have the best jobs, minimal income tax (7% instead of 30% like in the US), and you get paid about 1800 to 2000 dollars a month. They’ll even provide your plane ticket there and back, and get your own apartment. But you have to stay there and teach for one year. And you don’t have to know Korean. Soy_el_Guapo
