I’d like to teach ESL in a college/ university. Should I get a Masters of Education or Masters of Linguistics?

I’ve noticed that many public school teachers get Masters of Education. I am not interested in working for a public school, only the university level.

    I would imagine that a Bachelors in Linguistics then a Masters in Education would be best. El-P
