I got accepted for an ESL job. How do I get a criminal background check? Where do I go to get one?

The job is located in Seoul, South Korea. I think they want me to send them a copy in print or in a file through email.

    I think your employer would get that for you. They wouldn’t hire you if they haven’t gotten your background check yet. Also, they might ask you to get you fingerprinted.

    You need to find out if they want a federal or local check. If it’s local you can just go to the police station. Be prepared to show government ID as in a passport, etc. - usually takes several weeks to obtain…

    You will have to go to the police department and get your fingerprints done etc. Call your local police dept. and ask them what else you need to do.

    Usually when a company needs a background check done, they will do all the leg work for you.
