I am doing job in teaching field in college. But because of not able to speak fluent english I had problem?

start speaking to yourself….make sure that you not only speak english, but also think in English…

Teacher need to communicate very well. Else the students never learn. They are paying fees to the college to learn and expect the best of teachers to educate them. Please learn good English. Join a coaching class. BS

Hi first watch Indian english news channel like NDTV ….Buy children story books….read them with the help of dictionary….and if u find any interview section in any newspapers…i mean interviews of actors, politicians ….read the questions carefully… In english questioning is difficult….everything u say urself say in english…. ..watch TV shows in MTV, V channel ……. daily learn some 15 high frequency words from dictionary and try to form sentences….definitelly ur english improves…..best of luck roshini.. invest in a good language program (Pimsleur or Rosetta Stone) or hire an English tutor, or both. Another option would be to enroll in a night class (advanced). In any case, read English books and newspapers and watch television, also ask all of your English speaking friends to do you a favor and correct your grammar/pronunciation as you speak.

get english in everything u do
watch english tv shows, movies
listen 2 english songs
read english: newspaper, novels
make a list of first few words daily u dont understand, get their meaning from dictionary and mug it whole day, say 5 words
best of all talk english to the max. avi

join in a coaching class or daily practise the vocabulary and learn new words and read children book which are easy to understand,read “Tinkle” it is very easy to read and understand,.buy one and practise it.that’s all. Raaga

Dear friend ! No language can be mastered without speaking it.
I can understand your situation as I have also been at the same point where you are today. I would tell you what I tried rather than asking you to follow me. You can decide if this way is good for you.
1. There is no short cut.
2. Start with reading english news paper for vocab. I remember finding words in dictionary and it used to take me sometimes one hour to go through a single article on the editorial page of Times of India. Generally the front page news has simpler words. So it can be good to start with.
As I was interested in hindi literature, I also found it easy to read short stories in English of Indian authors like RK Narayanan etc.
3. Remove hesitation and go for group discussions with like minded friends who want to speak english. This is the most important part. I remember someone posted a notice in the street in KatwariaSaray inviting people to join one such group and I joined that group though I did not know anyone of them before.
Also those people were beginners like me. But it was of great help.
4. Start activities like narating any incident that you have come across or any famous story in a group.
5. Be consistant in whatever approach you follow. Initially you will make good progress than a period of saturation would come when you would find you are not moving fast enough. It is improtant to see that period through.
