Southern California is a huge area with hundreds of districts.
Each district sets their own pay scale - You’d have to go check the district you wish to work for. Here is a link to the largest of the SoCal districts:
Also remember that you cannot teach with just a BA - You need a teaching credential - this is usually 1.5-2.5 years post-bac work, as well as a few tests and student teaching.

It will also depend on who you teach and where you teach.
Do you want to teach adults, children, business professionals, new immigrants, etc.?
Do you want to work in a pubic education system (K-12, an adult school, community college, university, etc.)?
Do you want to teach at one of the many private language schools in So. Cal?
Do you want to teach privately?
All of these things will help to narrow an answer for you.
Good luck. Debra G
