How do you become an ESL volunteer in Toronto?

Ena asked:

I want to earn some community hours for my high school diploma, and I was wondering how do you become an ESL volunteer in Toronto? I speak English and Polish fluently. Do you know any places where I could volunteer?

I’d contact literacy centers or your local library. Most do have these programs. If not, they can direct you to those who do.

o.m.g trust me, there are so many pl who would LOVE your help, because other tutors cost sooo much and volunteers dont. so many ppl cant afford classes, so you could go to community services and work at a local esl teaching centre or a church. find out where they have free classes and get started :)
