I am going to Japan, and would like some experience in teaching foreign students in a different country, how to speak english. Maybe a few days a week.

Not sure about East London but I know there are a few places in Central London that are English Schools. There is a big one near Tottenham Court Road tube (central and northern line) and some others down Oxford Street. maybe one of those will be happy to take you on or at least help you find a job hongkongphooey

First you’ll need to get a tefl (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification - once you have one you can teach english in most countries. The courses tend to be a few weeks long and pretty intensive, but at the same time not really difficult.

this site has a list of courses available in the UK, hopefully some are near east london:

i also think the the univeristy of east london runs some courses Dan P
