delina_m asked:
Or can you go to school while on a tourist visa? Most people get three months when entering on a tourist visa, is there an impediment to enroll in school to study the english language then, if your classes are going to end before the three months and you leave when your three months are up?
Going to study to the US
Thanks Jenn! Trying to find out for a friend. He doesn’t want to stay, he only wants to come for the summer and learn english in a community college type of thing while on vacation.

tagvail asked: I am Iooking for an actual TEFL school in Thailand, not an internet marketer. How do I find actual, real schools?
I get bogged down in all the internet offerings - seems like alot of marketing for only a few schools.
Thanks!

Gurk asked:
I would like to teach ESL in China in the next few months. There is a company called English First who will certify me through SIT. English First will also place me in a job. The SIT certification is 1,995.00 and CELTA is 2,495. Is is worth paying the extra money to get the CELTA cert. I do not plan on living overseas forever probably just a couple of years.

My brother in law just got done with college - is in debt - and recently got this great idea that he’s going to go to Japan to teach ESL and “see the world”. Has anyone done this- looking for what the real story is on jobs of this type.

I am going to a vocational school and in two years I will have a drafting technician diploma. I am really wanting to be an ESL teacher in Japan. So I am wondering, if I go into a TESOL course, will the TESOL certificate on top of the drafting diploma be enough to teach English in Japan?

hma_hasan asked: Shall I go for online or regular class room course? How does it affect my job prospects and study during the course?
I live in india. After doing this course, I would like to go abroad for work. As TEFL also has a centre in Calcutta, what is best for me? If, I complete my course from India and then go abroad, will it have any affect on my job prospects?
In terms of its validity, where it stands in the internatinal market? Thanking you in advance for your vlauble suggestions.
