		<description>It totally depends on your state's laws.  In Arkansas, you have to have a degree, usually a certification, then go back and go through the "ESL Academy" which is provided by your school and the state and is an intensive training program, or you can go to college and take ESL classes.  If your state provides training, you may want to opt for that because it might be cheaper and your school might pay for it.  Call your Dept. of Ed. to see what they require because some states dont care what your degrees are in, as long as you are willing to learn...and some are more stricts and REQUIRE the training to be done before you start.  Good luck.</description>
