M M asked: I’m teaching some rom kids today and all I know is that they will be 13-14 years old, have a little bit of experience in english, and that there’ll be about 5 of them. What sort of activities can I do in the classroom to help teach them english?

K.C. asked: I’ve missed too much of my senior year to graduate and I want to get a GED. I wasn’t sure if prospective employers in Korea and Japan would look at anything but your college degree. Should I go for the GED or graduate super late?

Trippi T asked: I’ve worked in Turkey as an English as a foreign language teacher for the last two years and I’m about to return to my home country, Australia. I’m at a loss about what to do as a job when I return. I have an Arts degree, and I’d really like to continue teaching, but not as a primary/secondary school teacher. Any suggestions?

Baluda asked: I was just wondering if there’s anyone out there who has delt with unprofessional esl recruiting agencies-whether it be a representative who has simply ignored your email/application, or someone who has just generally given you rotten service. I would like to know which agencies I should avoid. I’ve had a few bad experiences already and don’t want to waste my time dealing with idiots.

daniel10492003 asked: I do not qualify for the JET Program because of health and age requirements. What other teaching English programs are available for older Americans with health problems? Planning to live in Japan permanently.
I am a native English speaker and lived in the USA all my life.

randomcrap1988 asked: I’ve been looking at the possibility of teaching English in Japan next year. I’ve seen things where you can go with just a bachelor’s degree and no foreign language experience. The problem is, the JET program deadline has passed, and I’ve heard Aeon and Aclipse (and recruiters like that) are somewhat illegitimate. Can anyone offer first hand experience about a program they have done (or no someone who has done a program) that they can recommend?

JarJar Binks asked: I graduated from college a few years ago and am doing nothing that I like, working in a call center. I’m thinking about joining the peace corps and teaching english abroad? Have any of you done this? Is this a hard thing to do? Would I get too homesick?
