groisamomma asked:
I am in my Master’s Program for Education-Middle School Math. I need to get in touch with an ESL teacher in New Jersey, or a regular teacher that has one or more ESL students in his/her room, so that I can interview him/her about the ESL programs in the school. Do you know of a teacher that can help me? How can I contact him/her?

I am currently teaching abroad but wanted to change to a European country. It seems like only EU passport holders are welcome to apply? Is this true for all of Europe and all types of schools? Is there any way around it?

Alicia asked: I am going to begin tutoring an ESL/EFL student next week. The focus of this, as set by the parents, is for him to pass the SSAT and TOEFL after about a year or two years so he can go to high school at a boarding school in the US.
I didn’t even know what the SSAT was until a couple weeks ago. So could anyone give me some tips, good websites, or book/study guide suggestions?
He needs to get a 2200 on the SSAT.

average joe asked: I would like to teach in Korea. It sounds like an interesting experience. However, I have heard some good things about it and some bad things. I’m Southeast Asian so I’m wondering how do they feel about people like me? I’ve heard that its a lot of fun to experience Korea but there must be some negative things that go along with it.
What are some of the good and bad things about teaching ESL and living in Korea? And what are some of the bad things?

Christine C asked: I’m going to be a high school teacher and I’m going through my practicum this Fall. This past Spring, I was tutoring kids at a high school where the international population is pretty significant. A lot of the kids I tutored were smart, but they had trouble with the language. I was tutoring them in science and, arguably, Chemistry is my second language.
I want to get certified so I can relay the information in a more effective manner.
